Lol. I think I worded that wrong. I mean which should I do first, tcase or axles, not if I should do it before the meet. But a month from now I should be regeared and on to something else.

I've heard of that place! I also heard the owner is a mean SOB at times. Never know though. It's a busy shop, sitting about 6 days in backwork right now.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
C'mon dave, I know your rig is more capable than mine.

    Thanks again justin!

I'm just messing around with you man. I get so much "drive a jeep now" shit that I gotta dish it back out when I can.

haha, well if you wanna get nerdy scientific on this...

From a heuristic standpoint, I tend to push past the yield region, not yet to the plastic region of my capabilities. Haven't pushed too much further past. It's when the Ball to Ultimate margin approaches zero that failure will occur. So far my ball size hasn't proven large enough to deform from my positive factor of safety when wheeling!

4 lo on my jeep and 33's is just absolute garbage. 3.55's suck real bad. I just can't justify dropping all the money (or time) or gears right now since I just got married into a lot of school debt.

Looks like I did a pretty good job and stirring some shit up haha! I was successful! Come on guys, if you guys can dish out the jeep crap talk, you better be able to take it back haha!

I won't say my vehicle is any more capable than a comparable rig or even that I'm a great driver, for me, it all boils back to, I'm ok with breaking it.

As far as wheeling, I'm down but it will probably have to be into June sometime. I'm going to be out of town for the next 4 weekends.

That hacked up XJ frankenstein my friend drives? I had a picture of it awhile back on here. Anyway, yeah, it's on 35s still with D30s, welded in rear, and he drives like a complete jackass. I'm stuck = more power. Still hasn't managed to break it, we're all baffled honestly.

I'm telling you man, I'm pretty dang impressed with these HP D30's. Everyone I wheel with has left theirs on and beats on it. I only know one guy whose broken a shaft but they are like 25 bucks at a junk yard and most people just carry a spare. You can swap a shaft out in like 20 minutes.

I agree with you, I've seen it first hand. I'm even considering an XJ when I finally do go get a crawler. :spy:
