How do u guys like the fit of that cover? Ordered mines online already. I heard that the tail gate part doesn't sit as flush to the bed to make it water tight. Heard it was a problem for the 6 ft bed guys tho. Thanks.

Yeah this was weird. They were all just standing on the opposite side of the road and one started walking across while the others stayed there. He got to the middle of the road and just stood there and then flew up right when I passed. Hit straight in the middle of my grill and a explosion of black feathers went everywhere. No damage to the truck but I'm pretty sure he got fucked up pretty bad.

Today I did my spark plugs for the first time had about 33715 miles on them. Went pretty smoothly. Yesterday i powerwashed the underside of my truck to get all of the sand and salt off from the winter, then washed and cleaned the truck inside and out.

I like the cover, nice tight fit and easy to install but my bed was wet after the car wash. Not sure if I need to make an adjustment or if it was just the way the water from the jets at the car wash hit it. I just go to the dealer and they run it through the wash for me, not sure what type of wash it is since I haven't seen it....I'm hoping it was just the jets and that rain won't be a problem.

I've hit a hawk before in my dad's car I barely hit it it was in the middle of the road and when I drove near it it spred it's wings like "come at me" and I hit it's right wing. I couldn't believe I hit it but it seemed fine after it got up off the ground so no harm no foul and no damage to the vehicle so it was all good

I don't think the crow fared as well. Judging by the huge explosion of feathers and loud thud.

Well, I'm short bed, and I wouldn't call it "water tight". I've never had an issue by the tailgate, unless I blast that part with a power washer, etc... I do get a little water in near the cab somewhere in a very hard rain. I've never really bothered to figure out where though, because its not an issue for me. I'm sure it could be found and sealed up, then I wouldn't be getting any water in.
