    Okay, now when you do that do you have to drive at a constant speed? I tried it once and couldn't get it right so I just reset it since my tires are close to stock size

    Does the calibration distance have to be in a straight line? Idk where I could find more than 2 miles of straight road around where I live

    I calibrated mine going in a circle over a long distance I avoided stop signs and red lights but I did hit one and I'm pretty close to my mph on the gps now.

    I don't think so, it measures distance (miles) and you input how many miles you went (usually based off of mile markers, but it could (in theory) be done with t GPS.

    Don't think i'm not considering putting mine above the rearview now just because of it. I've gotten over it now and i'll be sending it to them to get it fixed so i can sell it and get something out of it. As for the new features, they work.

    I plugged the new one in and just left the old one flop freely against the left most dash air vent, i opened the door...it fell down farther, i was hot...tired, already not paying attention and just mindlessly closed the door while trying to get my garage door to close. As soon as i heard the crunch, i said "welp, there goes $50." :eek:
