What's the brown turd campout all about? Isn't it all muddy rock crawling trails? I don't make it over to the dark side very often.

Bah. It's not that wide, I just get bored driving at speeds where walking is a faster mode of transportation. Agreed on the dunes/desert trip. Shoot come on over to the free side of the state this weekend. Going camping at a cool spot, some wheelin', some shootin, what else do you need? Oh, and attending the Oyster Feed in Seneca on Saturday. High noon, $20 all the oysters you can eat. Might have another member camping with us as well, but the more the merrier.

 

Width is fine, especially for what he'd consider a challenge.

This is all crawler, trail, and technical stuff, so not for the desert/mud bog fans.

There should be some annual thing that happens over there, but you guys either aren't the organized type or you keep hidden

 

Nah, it's just different here. People rarely intentionally go four wheeling. It's just something that happens on the way to elk camp, or going fishing, or getting to work, etc. Maybe I should set up more of an expedition style run with a couple overnighters or something like that. I can get from the WA border to the Nevada border mostly on dirt roads on this side of the state, it would be a neat run for you city slickers. Nothing too difficult, just a fun run.

Yup! He got a laugh when I mentioned it was one hell of a missplaced race truck. Its a very thorough build inside and out. He wasn't fooling around when he built it.
