Truck looked good out at the Carson river, wanted to stop and chat but we were pressed for time to get back to Reno for prior commitments.

Ha totally. I knew you had to be a member. I saw the rear bumper and recognized it as a Relentless bumper. I texted Eric when i got into cell range and he said it was you.
I caught a picture of you crossing the river, I'll get it up in a few minutes.

Took the family out today. Had heard about Carson River hot springs not terribly far from Tahoe. Not a lot of info on the interwebs about it, but found random incomplete directions. Not a hard trail by any means, but super fun time. Kids got to hang out in the hot-tubs too. Didn't really take but a couple pix.

And Dave here's the pic I grabbed of you on your way out.

Leviathan Mine Road. I've driven down Leviathan before, but hooked a right at the fork and drove out on China Springs. First time we've gone through the gate and out towards the springs.

Dude I may as well have stole this thing. It's normally $349. It was on sale for $269. On top of that I had a coupon that brought it down to $199. And for whatever reason, they fucked up and pulled 20% off of that so it was only $160!!!

And I make way too much with my current career to give up. I'll keep this "career" as a hobby...and a backup just in case everything turns to shit.

That band saw is awesome! Take a few minutes to dial it in and its worth its weight in cheap cast iron!

Exactly. Took me probably an hour to get it put together and mess with the tension and rollers. But I'm impressed so far.
I like the auto shut off. Just drop the saw on and let it cut till it shuts off.

Set it and forget it... till it gets a good bounce and pops a blade off...
Once the blade is set to true vertical, it rarely gets out of line.

What's the advantage of a bandsaw over a chopsaw for cutting metal tube ?
