17 was the plan exactly because of the lack of tires. There are some Nitto tires people where talking about but I have no idea. First truck always had hatches before this. If i get the 17s tire size suggestions?

Nice wheels. I love my 16" wheels. My wife has 17" on her tacoma and likes them. What direction do you plan on going with your truck? You going to wheel ot or you going to use it as a good looking street truck? Depending on use will give you a better answer for tire choice.

Its my primary vehicle so I cant do anything to crazy but I want something that can preform off road. I know its hard to have both but i figure there is some middle ground. Most of the off roading is going to be out in the desert if that helps. Packed dirt and sand mostly.

The Nitro Terra Grapplers were my favorite tire .. until I tried the Toyos. I would still recommend the Nitto's tho if that's what you're lookin at.

I was going to go over to the Tempe Desert Rat location to see if they would help me out with tire sizing. They match any price online which is awesome. I just dont know what size would fit well on these tires.

BTW do you guys do any AZ Taco meetups?

Gotcha. Well I always recommend a more rugged looking tire anyway. I think they just look awesome on our trucks. But like josh said the nitto graplers are a great tire allot of guys like and will work out great. I like the mtr kevlars personally. It fits my trucks uses better. (Im up north in show low so snow mud and trees)

If I remember correctly 275/75/16 is the largest without a lift. Discount tire will match and beat any price quote on any tire. And yes all the time with the meets

See my build thread in my signature

I want to say the biggest size you can put without a lift is 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 but you have to take the front mudflaps off that's what size I ran before my lift

There are meet ups all over the state depending on what you are looking for. Phoenix has them all over the place all week it seems like. Like I said im up in show low . So if you are ever up my way give me a heads up ot if you have any questions anout out door activities let me know

After reading a bit online I guess everybody is in the same battle...

Toyo AT2 vs General Grabber AT2 vs Nitto Terra Grapplers

I think I will take Moose1988 and from what I have seen most of the internet's opinion and take the Toyo's (unless I find a slamming deal on the others)
