Fox shocks, extended travel. Need aftermarket uca's.

 

Yeah, but I'd rather get the extended and UCA's (cost will make me cry) than get just plain fox's.

Gives me a goal to save up to.
But I just remembered something, Cody had/has foxes and they rusted like crazy, and I'll be in close to the same environment with mine.

I was looking at the kings when I first got the truck, but they don't have a resi (I know, I wouldn't use it hard enough to need resi's, but still), so I might look at Icon.

 

Not really. He's on an island, I'd think it'd be damn near impossible to get way from the salty air. Just because you live in a gulf state doesn't mean your shits gonna rust like crazy

 

There's a good possibility i'll be up north with my truck the next few fall-spring seasons, which means lots of salt unless I get a beater car.

If I did that I'd try to randomize it as much as possible.

That's what I'm thinking, but then again I like fox, and with maintenance I could keep them from rusting, but then again I don't really want to do more maintenance than necessary

Then don't get rebuildable shocks. They're supposed to be rebuilt on an average of 50,000-60,000 miles IIRC...

I'm talking about cleaning and applying a finish every week or two when in really salty conditions.

I may be entertaining a little, but I do value input.

 

Like everybody's saying, pick a color.

After doing some minimal research and talking with LT guys on here. Every shock can be tuned exactly the same, comes down to personal preference of the user.

Some like stiffer ride, some like to ride in a Cadillac.

Get instructor qualified next year, spend my last 3 years active duty in New Mexico.

Move to Utah and finish out college to teach History.

 

Didn't learn much History at all in school honestly... Coaches for History teachers

But I'm evidently good at teaching other people stuff, and History interests me. If I actually liked math, I'd teach that. I could be a junior high Math teacher haha
