    It's a truck for crying out loud. It has plenty of power for it's size.

    Speeding around at 3k all the time just doesn't make sense to me.

    Keep mine under 2k when accelerating 99% of the time.

    Not really.

    3-4k works great for pulling hills (3rd with the TQ locked) and passing.

    If I did that I'd get honked at and flipped off everyday, and possibly bumped into.

    Obviously you're not going to be under 2k when going uphill or passing.

    But feeling the need to accelerate 3-4k every time you're coming from a stop is just excessive.

    I'm not even under 2K when on the highway.

    I don't always get up to 3K, lately I've been keeping it at or under 2.5K but it used to go up to 2.75K before it shifted.

    Highest my truck gets before shifting is like 2.5k. And that's it holding the gear longer when it's cold for some reason
