i am i stick guy from the word is go but. depending on mileage and stuff not bad of trade. it would be better trading them just the hassle to make a few bucks.

If you are set on getting either one of those trucks as opposed to waiting until you find what you really want, I would try to negotiate for the 4runner. It has fewer miles and it is a better fit overall for what you want (camping, etc.)

Having said that, both of those vehicles are slightly over priced. Sure, a toyota is a toyota and you can put a great deal of miles on them, but that tacoma is over the 200k mile mark already. No way I would pay what the owner is asking for.

Thanks guys! I do agree that both toyotas are over priced but that's how it seems to be around here. I am going to check both of them out on Sunday but if neither of them work out I just might hold off for a little bit.

where do you live? houston and pismo are thousands of miles apart...

around here a 4runner is about half the price of what you are gonna pay for an equal tacoma.. esp a 4x4

Im in Houston right now. I know in California 4runners like the black one would go for about the asking price cause of its rarity. I know my current tacoma is worth about 13k so if I sold it I would be able to put a couple grand in the bank would be nice. I just hope one of these is up to my standards cause my current tacoma is pretty much in immaculate condition.

I think I'd take a close look at the 4-runner, Taco's are sweet but I'd take a 4-runner if the opportunity came up. Of course I'd keep the Taco too...
