This is me we are talking about. If it can get fucked up, it would happen to me. I don't have time to wait in Moab f somehing goes wrong. I have shit I have to get back to the days right after lol. I just wanna be safe

 

It's totally pointless though. You have custom shocks now and leafs and shit. You have to drive home at trike 45mph without shocks.

You can just disconnect the rear drive shaft and drive home front wheel drive. Max did that remember?

Don't you need to put new spring perches on that old axle to even use it with the 63's?

I have yet to figure out how to do that. But that's why my truck goes on a trailer behind a diesel. Plenty of power to haul as many spare parts as I desire and get it home no matter what my ego fucks up. Or the common occurrence of konstas ego getting poked by some ass hat on the other end of his cb

And if all else fails, throw your truck into a storage unit in Moab then fly home. Then come get it later.

We kind of did that before with our 4runner when we moved from Colorado to Utah. Didn't want to deal with towing it and everything else at the same time. So towed it to Moab and wheeled, put it in an enclosed storage unit, went back home and moved everything to Utah. Then went down and picked it up and wheeled again.

 

I know how to drive just fine, and be conservative when its needed. But shit happens.

Ive seen 2 toyota diffs explode this year. you drive up an obstacle, one bad hop, you come back down and boom, little bits and pieces every where. This isnt 7 mile rim and hells. We are doing 8 and 9 rated trails. Shit breaks, no matter how cautious you are. If you do hard trails, over and over and over its bound to happen. Im going to do my best to keep it from happening of course. But i cant be surprised when something snaps.

yes but there was nothing on the wyoming meet with difficulty enough to do any real damage i would worry about.

If my truck wasnt as big i wouldnt be on those trails and i would be doing easier trails and it would suck ass. I didnt build it to do the same trails easier.

Bring your tires and I'll have the Oreillys bring in some more CV's for both first and second Gens, Other than that, as long as you leave your damn lead foot at home you'll be fine
