Bright blue silicon is pretty common is turbo land. That or black.

Yea their intercoller setup isn't idea for us.

And no, the cross over pipe ties into the turbo s all 6 spin it. Look at the pics below the main ones.

Better get damn good with a TIG welder if ya want build your own that flows good

Water IC are pricey. Don't know a ton about them as most don't use them.

Idk if it would be worth it either. Not sure you could make one that flows better or not really. Not a lot of space to work with and having a crossover pipe air ever nice.

Oh no doubt they work better. Just expensive. I know it would be easy to get and air/air that would fit just behind your grill. Lots of shapes and sizes.

I have never looked at water ones really.

    Yea always a possibility.

Used to be some bad ass parts to overhaul it with forged parts and cams and valves. Not sure if LCE sells that stuff anymore.

Why the hell would you only want boost for 2.5k?? Be a horrible power band.

You'll be in boost not vacuum at 2500rpm

I would. More power available. And you would never get to really enjoy the boost since out motors top out so low and fast especially with boost

Easy to make a turbo kick in late. A 60-1 a/r .70 would do the trick I bet.

One thing to keep in mind is that, just because your turbo CAN make full boost at a given RPM, doesn't mean it will at all times. If you're cruising down the interstate at 2500 RPM without accelerating, the turbo will be spinning, but your wastegate will be open preventing you from making boost. Usually, in the Evo, I'll see the boost float around from vacuum to about 2 psi just cruising around. But, since the turbo can make boost at those RPMs, I can just press the throttle and go!

The wastegate is not open while cruising. It doesn't open till you have reached boost pressure for whatever spring you are running. But yes while on highway it will not make boost unless there is an additional load applied such as accelerating. Which even with cruise on won't be that often except on large hills.

    Yes very good points guys.

My second battery is fine. Was at 6v is all. Flipped the solenoid for the starter and bumped it to 12v and connected my deep cycle charger. Took like an hour and it was at 11v by itself.

    Deep cycles FTW!

Also thank you mike for reminding me about "jumping" deep cycles.
