    I bought this and the canoe foam blocks... 16' canoe. You can either haul it with the carrier in the high or low position. I also used it in the low position making it easy to load/unload the canoe.

    Yes, it does. http://www.extendatruck.com/specs.html is the specs for each position. For the price on Amazon Prime, you can't beat it. It's fairly sturdy.
