    I survived the mowing of the lawn, it was tough.:D
    Hi Susan, been a while. I interviewed on Thursday of last week, it seemed to go fine. I spent a lot of time with the recruiter, then spent time with the shift manager touring the facility, then interviewed with the general manager. Things looked good, but I haven't heard back from them yet. They said they would be in touch one way or the other on Monday. I waited until Monday night, then sent a very polite e-mail, then made a phone call yesterday (went to voice mail). Still nothing. Does not seem promising at the moment, but that's OK too. I would be good either way. Note to folks in their late 50's, tough job market out there for us boomers!

    I think part of the problem is that they know you will only be there for a few years and then retire. They also don't want to pay you when they can pay someone else less. The only thing they don't get is the experience you bring with you.
