Well, I WAS grinding off some superfluous sheet metal on the rear quarter panels when the female neighbor came home. Drama queen, liar, and gossip, 2nd class.

Clearly doesn't want to hear a grinder at work.

New rule, I have to wait for her and husband to be gone before I finish trimming off the fender. Saturday is my next shot at any amount of reasonable time on my end, and I'm pretty sure she'll be home.

Then I gotta hammer it. Ugh. Maybe I'll get lucky, and she'll bug out early a couple days this week.

As long as you follow city ordinance for work hours not much she can do. If she wants to keep bitching about it tell her you going to be inviting your tacoma buddies over every day to work on their junk:D

I love how this world is set up for people who want to complain about shit. What if I want to complain about someone complaining about me or being too quite? I could go on forever about this, but I'll spare you all.

Posted this in the mid travel forum but you guys are usually quick to a response...

Hey guys so I ordered a set of all pro expo leafs, they sent me these, in the pictures I've seen there is an EX after the -3 on the leafs. Did they send me the normal leafs and not the expos?? I keep trying to give All Pro Off Road the benefit of the doubt but shit like this keeps happening when I order from them. 017C3A23-1A37-44BA-9CCA-94FDD49DFB63_9fe03c9d6804d12ab191d7c97a07e935789e9474.jpg

Yeah I'm really happy with how it's turning out haha. And i got the f55 because of how soft they are but now I'm not sure because I'm start to get a little in over my head with what I wanted to do. I'm afraid the springs will be to soft vs f67

Hope it works out for you. It sucks that the other dealerships blew you off. I've had enough issues, I'm glad that some places have the parts diagrams online. I'd rather take the time to understand what I'm ordering than deal with returning parts and not having a running vehicle. Let me know how it works out.

And, yeah, I miss Jorge. Was great to have him answering questions here. I don't know if the new guy sees the value in it.

Are the expos too stiff for you TimmyB? I will trade with you. I have OME Dakar on my truck. They are too soft and the add a leaf is on back order. I have had them for about 6-8 months.

What was your plan? 9" shackle through the frame?
I'll be honest, you will not be happy with F55's. You're uptravel is gonna suck. I would definitely suggest f67's with a 12" shackle over the frame. 52.5" spread between center of front hanger to center of shackle pivot.

No worries. I would be happy with the Dakar if I could get the add a leaf. They flex nice off road. I just have too much weight for them without an add a leaf. ..

Hmm I was thinking about just making an AAL for my dakars from my old leafs. I guess the big question is are the leafs the same width. I'll have to measure.

Yeah I have f55 with 9 inch shackles but I can't always switch em out for 67 only thing is I'm keeping my bed so I really want to mount shackle on top of frame

There's plenty of room on top of the frame to run a pivot and gussets and keep the bed. That's how mine is done and I still have my bed. But using a 9" shackle over the frame is gonna suck. You'll be on your bumps at ride height with those F55s
