necro bump! stock height, stock size tires, Falken Wildpeak A/Ts. highly recommend this tire for mileage & road noise... good mileage, low noise, traction is kinda ehhh in wet conditions though. I put them on with the big silver center caps. I actually liked these some a lot of angles but they have started rusting due to winter salt so I am going to go with something different in the summer.

don't actually need to take mudflaps off with this setup either, I just ripped the driver's side one off on the huge curb in front of this shitty house

Looks great temps! I recommend leaving hub caps off, just clean up the hubs and hit them with some flat or matte black rustoleum. Looks much better IMO.

Thanks for the post / photos! Great looking truck! We hardly ever see any red 2nd Gens anymore!

PM me if you need some black caps to replace those chrome caps. :)

    thx.

that is what I'm going to do - keep the rims looking nice and deep. then maybe red pinstripe around the outside. don't think I'll do anything else, this truck was so good looking from the factory I can't see many ways to improve it.. since the yamaha already had the hood scoop and whatnot

How much more will the 17" with 4.1 backspace and -10 offset stick out than a wheel with 4.5" backspace and 0 offset of the same size? - Thanks

    Hi,

The 17x8" -10mm offset (4.1" backspacing) wheels will sit outward 10mm additional (or approximately .4") more than 8" width / 0mm offset / 4.5" backspacing wheels.

    Thanks.

You're very, very welcome. I really appreciate you and everyone else being so patient with the time that it took for the wheels to arrive.

I have contacted everyone from the waiting list / pre-order list, and all pre-orders have shipped.

It looks like we will definitely have a few matte black and matte bronze sets still available to ship out from this shipment. I might have one or two anthracite light gunmetal sets as well (still waiting for a couple of calls back from the waiting list).

Anyone who is interested in a set please call or text me on my cell: (714)390-9387.

    *NEW FOR MAY 2014:

The 17" Konig Countersteer Type X wheels are now hub centric for 6-lug Toyotas and the lug holes are sized for 12mm Toyota studs for an even more precise fitment.

These new Konig Countersteer Type X wheels now also accept the popular flat type OEM center cap from Toyota : Part # PTR18-35092.

A lot of people have been asking about them. I have to say at first the combo was a little different than I pictured but now I think its perfect. Thanks Dustin. The only thing that was a down side is that one wheel got scratched and nicked when I was getting them put on.

Sorry to hear that! If you take it up with the tire shop they normally will make it right. Sometimes they get in a rush and become a little careless.

I'm glad you're otherwise happy, and I'm glad you think the wheels/tires are perfect.
