now that you know about lifting eyes, Crosby has a ton of information on hardware on their site, including sections on shackles. brows around their site if you're ever bored, and then you'll have all of your bases covered.

If I find a factory JBL head unit with a full screen I'll use that. Those are few and far between though.

the one i have for you is the newer version of that, and actually has an even smaller plug on the end. makes it easy to feet it through the dash. that's the only change though.

Is the input regular video RCA, or do I need a converter?

input is a standard RCA. i think there are provisions for sound, but that's obviously non needed, so i just used the yellow plug for the video feed only. the plug in the picture is jsut for the harness/extension hookup. the screen has a thumb screw on the back to make it easily removable for storage when you park in sketchy areas. the plug just allows you to fully remove it and toss it in the center console or wherever

Awesome. I think that ram mount that was sent to me by mistake might make a showing in this install. I was thinking that a non-permanent install was in order, but having front and rear video all the time might be nice to have.

Do you find your self watching the lines on the road in the screen?

only when i flip the front cam on.

REALLLLY poor idea, but you can actually drive by looking only at the front cam :anonymous:

rear cam is pretty much just a giant rear view mirror.

Colin does a good job of freaking people out on the trails since he's looking down at this dash and not out the windshield.

Now I can do that too! :D

Here is the new promotion video for Jambo 2014.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXdTtQETQsM

    Personal appearance at:

4:43, hanging out at the pavilion

    10:15, Colin in the background
10:49, Colin on the sandy hill climb
    11:18, Colin trying again
    11:49, Some RC action

It's hilarious that all of the "interviews" were done at the main bonfire where everyone was smashed!
