Is it possible to rewire my 2014 to run the high and lows at once? In a Doge or Ford you can just hold back the flasher and they both stay on. For my work it very important that can see the road right in front of me very clearly and also be on the look out for deer and what not. Hard to explain. Ill install some after market driving lights eventually but for now Im looking for a cheap solution.

That is not a good idea. The headlight bulb on the Tacoma is a H4 Hi/low with dual filaments and you will quickly burn it out doing that.

I would recommend upgrading the bulbs or adding a set of fog lights.

Youre right it would probably burn out too quick, so I will probably just upgrade the bulb. I already have factory fog lights

There are some good options to upgrade your fogs. TRS and VLEDS have some.

I'd consider adding a good set of distance lights. That way you could keep your low beams on and throw light out with the aux. lights to see futher down the road. Off road lights will throw much further than your factory high beams also.

To answer your original question though, there's a product called a Bright Box that lets you run both the high and low filaments at the same time. As mentioned above though, if you do that I wouldn't expect your bulbs to last very long.

Standard H4 bulbs are 55 watts low beam, 60 watts high beam as I recall. I've seen higher wattage bulbs 100 watts I believe. You might have heat and current draw problems with the high wattage bulbs, I've never used them.

You definitely do not want to run both high and low beam filaments at the same time the bulbs will fail.

I installed The Brite Box (as mentioned by Pugga above) which turns on High, Low and Fog when you go to High Beam and have had no trouble or bulb burn out. Been running for over a year now.

I did have to get a different plug for the fog light than what comes in the Tacoma kit, but they overnight shipped to me a their cost.

    Just a few LEDs...
You could replace your halogens with LED bulbs. These have two LEDs per bulb, one for low beams and one for high. On low beams, only the top LED lights up. However, on high beams BOTH LEDs light up. Get the LED fog light bulbs to match and you will have more than enough light.

The key to a clean crisp looking front end light display is to make sure when coordinating your lighting system is to make sure you use all the same color temperature bulbs.

You can never have too much light! I agree about the colors, even the little turn signals need to match.
