22" Rampage LED light bar, 9600 lumens. Mounted behind the grill. I took this pic at 4:00pm. Really pleased with the light output and the clean look. Hopefully it'll stand up well over time.

Ok, thanks for directing us back on topic, haha.
But, all I see is a big blob of white.....
I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but I think I should explain some general 'guidelines' for led pics...
    If y'all don't mind...
Take a FEW pics, or 2 at least.. We LOVE pics, and lots of them:)
Like, maybe one of the lights mounted being turned off.. so we can see the bar itself and how you mounted it..
One with them on either in daytime or night..
And one of the light output on the road:)

Used some perforated 1.5" angle and bolted to the back side of the bumper.

I got a 30" okled Cree double row up for sale.

Also, anyone here know of any company besides rigid that sells a 40" single row in amber?

Side angles work great, as do shots from the roof line

Yeah and from far away behind the vehicle. I need to try this so I can see the entire output from but I'm just afraid to leave my truck running for that long at idle. Seeing as I have no one to help me take shots. Ha.

Yeah your best bet would be to get a 40" white with Amber cover. Or make your own cover maybe.

But amber covers or films are going to be more of a yellowish color. For a true, rich amber color you need actual amber LED's.

I would say go for 2 or 3 shorter length amber bars and combine them. I think that'd look pretty sick anyways.

Like this truck. Not sure who's this is, I just saved it.

But 2 bars up top would look sick in amber. That's the only option I see. If you cam find single rows like that. I saw some from vision x (single row) but only come in 12". 3 of those maybe? But would come out to $1047 whereas rigids is $999 for the 40"...

Oh check out these UV and IR light bars from superbrightleds.com
    http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/specialty-high-power-led-spot-lights/
Kinda interesting. Not really practical for a truck, but interesting. Might be cool in the desert where I live to spot scorpions while offroading. Heh. I see some monsters out here in az sometimes. Idk just thought I'd share that..

I was at the auto parts store today and there was a guy in there looking for a led light bar cover. Anybody seen any?

Well, most covers are specifically designed to only fit that specific bar. I doubt yer gonna find a universal one. You could make your own. Cut it to shape. Figure out how to secure it on. Maybe some snap rings or something..

That's what I told him. Make your own if you gotta have it.

Or if you want to make it permanent, and risk disassembling your bar, you could replace the lens with the amber one cut to shape and reassemble. I've taken one of my bars apart and it was a simple sheet laying on top of rubber seal that is pressed down in a groove like an o ring. The lens came right off.

I have a yellow headlight film on my 20" right now. Works okay and was only $4.

As for the covers, I made some clear ones out of 1/8" plexi glass using heat to soften it then bend the edges over. I dremeled some slits in the roof set and sewed in some velcrow strips, but didn't feel like taking so much time for the 20" so I just wrap the Velcro strap around the outside. I ended up covering them with black vinyl so they block light.

The orange camo didn't last long. Just didn't look good.

Wow that's an awesome job regardless! I like it!! My idea sounds too complicated now. Ha. And yeah the film would work too. Idk why I didn't think of that cuz I wanted to get some uv resistant film (clear) to help prevent yellowing. Since I don't have covers and it never sits under cover/shade:/
Bit so far I don't see any yellowing. I may be good.
