Got my 5100s installed on the front today. Set them at 1.75 and came out pretty close to level. In the photo its on a slight slope. Believe my next mod is going to be ditch lights using CBI brackets, switch, and Rigid Duallys.

This evening i took my leaf springs apart. Which was a huge pain. I wouldnt recommend doing it by yourself haha. My center pin was rusted and destroyed so i had to use an impact just to get it off. I used some stainless hardwear that was laying around and grinded off the head of the bolt so it would fit nicely in its slot. Then i cleaned up the leafs with simple green and cut some fire hose that i had and placed them at the end of the leaf springs to prevent the sqeaking. I made 4 inch lengths and slid it into place. I was only able to get one side done because it was a huge pain doing it by myself. I hope the fire hose holds up well i have a pretty good feeling about it :)

I've read Alot of that alot on this site. But some on here swear by them. Ill keep a eye on the secondary filter and see how that looks if its getting any dust to it.

I know its a seperate deal but I have a 07 yfz450 with a dry wrap with the k&n. sometimes no air box and have never had dust in my intake. One day of riding I habe to clean the air filter but I've never had dust in my intake.

I went through some FL dusty roads. My K&N was clogged beyond anything I had seen before. I pulled it out and there was a fistfull of sand in it. the intake itself had the same. My engine was loosing power and stuttering badly. Oil was BLACK and dirty, (Mobil 1 5w 30) - Changed the Oil filter, oil and intake K&N filter out for all new ones. 2500 miles since wednesday of last week and all is seemingly fine again.

Well, that is, without pulling half my engine apart. I can hit the acelerator hard and not bog down and loose power. No more tossing codes.

I was really worried not knowing what the real issue was. I had found wood chips/ bark in a couple of my gas cans. The neighbor had been vandalizing my truck and property for a few months now when he gets drunk . I was really fearing the worst. I still want to drop the gas tank, check out the filter foot on the gas pump. Then, possibly install a new performance pump since I will have to when I get the SC anyways.

one is for the block heater, and the other is for the battery charger. I work a 14x14 day shift, so my truck sits a lot. When I go to work and park it for 2-3 weeks, I plug it in and it trickles 2A all the time, keeps the battery fully charged and also keeps it from freezing. The snow finally melted, so I guess I'll tuck them inside the bumper for the summer.
