Wouldn't you have to fail a field sobriety to constitute a blow n go? That's when a little = too much.

No, it's a slap up side the head to help cut down on this. If you were wrongfully accused, then you were dealt a raw hand and no shame in that. If you know you were to blame, own it and learn from it. People can respect that.

Oh I own up to it, Never will it happen again.

You do not have to fail a field sobriety test. I passed mine no problem, but he asked if I would blow and I said yes. A cop can give you a dui for ANY alcohol content in your body. you do not have to be over .08 to get a dui. They can give you one depending on the situation.

I am 22, leaving a bar, at 2am, with a truck full of drunk kids. A little suspicious right?

Cop told me after all the tests that he would have just let me go home since I wasnt drunk like he expected but since he had already called back up and i did have alcohol content in me that he had to give me a dui.

Sure, maybe I should have told my friends to call a cab. But where we live those are pretty hard to find.

I would have rather picked them up then them drive. Ive had way too many friends and family members die or get hurt from drinking and driving. Never in a million years would I think I'd get a dui.

I love it. I was back and forth on selling my tacoma. I even almost pulled the trigger on the rcd lift about a week before i sold it. Long story short a family member is a broker and he bought it and sold it to a dealer in Mt Vernon area. So if you guys see a white TRD off road with a folding tonneau cover mbrp exhaust and afe CAI with 31 thousand miles. It was mine and is in amazing condition. Now to the 4runner that kinda happened on accident. The wife spotted it at Beaverton Toyota out on the point. Its MGM and they had it lifted with 18 inch black rockstars and Duratracs, factory black side steps, tinted windows and a big ass WeatherTech bag on the roof rack(that I later learned was a 5th wheel & tire). Anyway after we went to Sand Lake on Sat we went and checked it out on Sunday. I bought it that day and love it. I only have one slight issue and thats that under full lock left or right when backing up my driveway the tire rubs on the mud flaps. I just took those off to see if its enough clearance which i think it will be. If not it goes back to toyota to see what they will do. But I don't want anything on the set up to change.

It doesn't have the cat in it. It bolts on right after the cat. Well it may still be sitting in my garage so let me know. It was only on my tacoma for about 2 years and never off road. It still looks new.

Aah, now I have full picture... yeah, you were basically placed as an easy mark. I think I would have done the same.

Not that my judgment means much, but that sure cleared some animosity regarding the situation.

You'd think the words "cat back" would have explained it to me the first time, right? :frusty:

Bastard. Thats exactly what I want. Minus the wheels. I told my wife last night I was tempted to go trade the truck in. But then the thought of another car payment plus the lift and tires for the 4Runner she told me not till her car is paid off. Got to wait 3 years. Which is probably a good thing anyways

Well when your ready I am sure there will be plenty. Beaverton Toyota has two more done and a FJ. The cool thing is that everything is covered under factory warranty so i don't have to play the back and forth thing if something goes wrong. Also Toyota just started offering a wheel/ tire replacement and paintless dent removal warranty. That was the only thing i got during the finance part of trying to sell me everything under the sun. So if I curb a rim and they can't fix it I get a new one for free. If someone door dings me it gets fixed for free.

Doubtful :(. Got the wife and kiddo. And if the wife doesn't have a job by then, I can't even think about using extra gas for anything...

its a spacer lift which i wasn't to big on at first. But when you figure in the fact that the 4runner lives in the garage is a daily driver and may see only mild wheeling at best it will work. I have seen the pictures of blown out shock bottoms from all the preload but then factor in done at toyota and they can't back out of it so i guess it will work fine. Now for the good it rides really well. Better then I thought and If I choose to later if I keep it long enough I may upgrade it to a toytec kit or something.

I had one of those way back in the day. You would have to hum and blow, then go. I learned early on it could be defeated with a 12v mattress inflator, a duck call all duct taped in-line. I supposed it could be called an Inflate and Go. :spy:
