    ok so seriously how heavy of off roading were they doing?

    Do the Jeeps have a rubber boot like the Tacoma? It does seem to give a little more support to the light.

    Yeah, its similar to the Tacoma, and the trails are around a 2.5+ on a 1-5. It might be worth noting.

    The biggest difference is the Tacoma has a spring/wire that holds the light in the housing, while the jeep has a twist lock. The spring in the Tacoma housing might allow for the movement to not break the bulb, but just jiggle in the assembly.

    I know on mine at least you can grab the fan and move it around a bit if you really wanted to. There is a bit of give, like you said more than likely because of the spring. I think in the Tacoma's at least you would have to hit some stuff pretty hard to physically break it. I'm more concerned with how vibrations of rutted roads will maybe reduce the lifespan. :notsure:

    They aren't breaking in half, but are ceasing to work after being used off road.

    I guess the vibrations are killing the light. They are being warrantied, and folks seem to be getting their money back, rather than try them again.

    My wife just called saying the head lights are flickering ( I have the life time LEDs) any common culprets I should look for or just check the mounting and plugs?

    Not at home yet just trying to prepare

    Got home its not flickering it won't come on and randomly lights up for a split sec about every 5 seconds any recommendations? They are not that old at all..

    This is why I am just staying with halogen for mandatory lighting such as headlights and doing LED or HID for optional lighting such as fogs or additional light bar stuff. Not that I've had any ballast or driver issues (knocks on wood) but don't want to either.

    Just one and yes just like that it's the led for sure until I figure something out I just soldered the bright side led in the low beams place problem temp. Solved until I find a source for a new led.

    Just my initial impression.... you light is installed upside down since the bottoms stays lit. Then it looks as though you are flashing the high beams which should be pointed down. Not saying there is any trickery but it looks suspicious.

    I had no low beam. High beam worked swapped the LEDs out now I have low beam and no high beam it is 100% a bad led working on finding a replacement so I can have both working again

    If that's the case then you need to flip your light over so the light is lit on top. You will not blind people since (as you say) they don't stay lit at the same time.
