What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

At the dealership getting my rear end looked at. I have what's called axel wrap I hope insurance covers it

 

Maxx. Love this tire, had them on a couple of work trucks, quiet on the highway, very good in mud and snow. Good wear.

Only have about 100km on these ones, but they are nice on the highway, it's hard to tell how a tire rides in Edmonton, the potholes are big enough to swallow most cars whole and there are too many to dodge. But I have about 40Km of high speed on dirt. Solid.

 

I'm liking my new cooper so much better than street tires

 

What light bar did you install in the grill..?

hows your maf? I would suspect a ton of dirt will be found beyond the filter.

Did you expect K&N to tell you differently and open themselves up to liability?

Ponder this: If a K&N filter has less filtering surface area than a OE paper filter how did they figure out how to increase airflow?

The answer is easy. They increased the size of the filtering media allowing more crap to flow into your engine.

If I can find my old K&N I will do a test to fix this debated issue. Ill pour a cup of sand onto both and shake them the same and see what falls through. I'd bet my yearly salary the K&N lets a TON more through.

My maf was never dirtier than when I was running a K&N and that's all the proof I need.

Just got done changing oil in both vehicles, packaged samples and ready to send off to Blackstone!! I hope they'll have good news.

 

Used it to tow my father-n-laws Z71 to the shop. Lol.
