Wonder how often a coach has a say in a buyout or was he speaking out of turn? I mean it's Torts he would never speak out of turn right?

 

I would think coaches directing their opinions on players to their GM's is pretty commonplace. The situation in Vancouver is so messed-up that this makes for good media gossip. We all know that Gillis and Torts brought the team to new lows and it certainly didn't happen as a result of good decision making.

Burrows is a competitor. If the price is right and assuming his injuries have remediated I would love to have him on my team.

Shero wins GM of the year award last year, this year he gets the boot. It all seems so random. Flip a coin, heads its Shero, tails its Bylsma.

I see nothing particularly impressive about Bylsma. Ironically Crosby almost seems to be a liability these days

 

I agree with both opinions. I think Cindy had his noggin knocked around and his jello brain was hurt.

 

Surprised to hear that myself. Curious to see what happens. I feel like the players don't respect Bylsma as a coach. Including Crosby, and that's part of the issue.

Believe me I fucking hate Cindy. Guys got the most talent but is a total pussy. What kind of captain argues with his coach on the bench? A little bitch that's who.

I'm telling you when the captain of the team is that highly regarded how can the coach discipline him let alone anyone else on the team? Cindy's inflated ego and untouchable status is why the team sucks.

 

While I agree that its completely unacceptable to argue with the coach on the bench, that's why I think Bylsma not being respected by the players is the issue.

 

and I blame Cindy for that. He is the captain after all. I just can't think of him having a good locker room presence or anyone respecting him off the ice for anything other than his skill. Unlike our captain who sucks on ice but is great in the locker room
