So I had to hit up radio shack for a longer cable and I'm reading your build Jeff and it seems like 18' wasn't enough either for you. I got the 20' radio shack special because my 12' I bought wouldn't reach from my toolbox. I was pissed I thought it would be perfect length since most people with 18' said it was too long.

    This old debate. Lol

18' is just enough for me. 20' would of been ideal

Wanna swap? :p I read 9 was just short for my setup and that 18 would be too long so I figured 12 would be a good middle ground. Boy was I wrong. Now I'm stuck with 20.

So you want a new rocker for it like the laser etched ones? Still uses the same contura switch

My 9' cable was plenty to run from my center consul to my rear bumper, but I have heard many people have issues doing this with the same length cables.

Maybe I just ran the most direct route and others used different routes.?.

I only have about 14" of cable into my cab.

You can kinda see it here where i used an existing hole in the cab to run it right from the hump for the tranny and it's sitting on my inverter.

Mine goes up my bedside, down another and then routed from rear to passenger door sill to center console. 12 would have been enough just barely if I drilled a hole into my bed as well as ran it up the center directly. but I rather not create another potential rust spot. I do want to measure the cable when it stops raining to make sure they did in fact give me 12.

No through a seal in the back of the cab that ends up in one of the cubbies under the back jump seats.

Can't multi quote on pos phone. Coil is a tw member who added on the tiregate. Bumper was made by shady ass company. No idea what their name is now its changed so much. Used to be tactical armour.

Sounds like air vent to equalize air pressure. Not sure on 1st gen. But sounds similar to 2nd gen vents.

No, I was going to get the push-toggle style that fits into the bank under the A/C panel to keep the stock look. Those buttons are a different size than the driver-side switches, and I don't know if the contura switches fit there either. Eventually I might try to add a switch panel in the overhead console for lights and stuff but I'm not going to tackle that right now.

If yours are the same as mine the section below the ac controls are the same size as left of steering wheel. And if yours is the same as the new trucks, jay Chux fit the arb switches below the ac controls.

Either way good luck. Should turn out good. I don't think I've seen anyone do it the way you're talking about but the Oem locker switch would be cool (I know you have the e locker). I wonder if they have an Oem compressor switch

    Happy bday!
