    Was that after he learned you're from missouri ?? I'm well versed in the trappings of small town law enforcement in the near bible belt, my grandfather was chief of police in Dighton ,Kansas for 30 years up to retiring...

    I'll bet Flagstaff was a nice,cool relief from the desert floor, although its been hotter where you & I live than its been in local deserts or anywhere else in Az. this week...

    My first stop was Maricopa for gas bout 290 miles outta that tank giess wasnt to bad and then drove 45 mins to our hotel. But didn't get to leave the house till 530. #Navy life.

    Nice, I'm socal born & raised but my lineage is so entrenched in Kansas farming & Okla. train watching (Heavner has one of the largest train depots in the U.S.) Fishing,swimming in cedar lake , getting chased by snappers & cotton mouths, chiggers in kansas & wouldn't trade any of it for anything..


    In his mind you just went from Cally carpet bagger to family coming home with your reference to your dad...;)

    I wish but oh well if was looking for mpg I wouldn't have gotten a 4x4 Tacoma and lifted.

    Doug to each his own but I miss the the southern ways of living and the the weather. 106 and just dry doesn't suit me haha.
