Yeah around July it's about 22 hours, Northern Alaska has a few days where the sun just circles, doesn't fully set.

It's weird to see so much sun light at this time haha. Complete opposite in winter

Hard to pass up with the view I get. My family is always amazed when I show them

 

What time is sunset ? Ours is just before 9:00 right now

Though so. hopefully one day i can spend a month or so driving and exploring AK. I don’t know why but have always wanted to see AK and most the states out west.. maybe except cali.

And its not even much of a "sunset" because the sun is basically moving horizontally across the sky instead of vertically. So the sun is right on the horizon for an hour plus. And then it doesn't get really any darker than dusk. Ive been out riding dirt bike at 1:30 just fine before.

Yeah, northern lights are usually a winter thing. The really cold, clear nights are when they're usually out. I'm not sure if they're more common during the winter, or if it just seems that way since its so right during the summer

may dad has seen them way down here. well just north of us up in the mountains.

I saw some really good northern light shows in central Alberta , only seen them a few times here on the south coast

 

I usually see then 4-5 times a winter. Theres so little light pollution around where I live I don't even have to leave the house to see them haha

 

Yeah it's too bright now but they were out a few weeks ago before it was too bright which was cool.
