What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

upgraded the stock 245/75r16 to 265/75r16 Dueler Revo A/T. plasti-dipped the rims. fitted my softopper. Plasti-dipped all the badges

 

-Added Bump Stops Temporarily for MOAB until my new rear suspension comes in.
-Added Side plates to my bed rack and moved my RotoPax to the side
-Added 5lb Propane tank & mount to swing arm
-Wired up Red LED Strips in my RTT
-Repainted All my Skids
-Installed Boost Gauge ( Yesterday )

Got a few more things to do, getting ready for MOAB next week!

Cut 7" from the factory antenna, so it now functions as a "roof feeler" in parking garages with low ceilings.

 

Cleaned up and repainted my rock sliders. Well one side…still have drivers side to go.

I drove on the beach at Tampa bay.

 

A good spring cleaning and flipped back to the summer tires. Softtopper got some velcro and new rail foam. Leak free!

 

I will probably research the headers a little more but I just wanted to ask, would that be long tubes? I know they're probably longer than the factory but would would the gains from these be?

 

I really like this look. Thanks to spieler for his handiwork with the decal. Now I need to derp the badging and bumper to match.

Took pics of ultralight sleeper platform before and after carpet. Used 1" thick aluminum honeycomb panels at half the weight 3/4" ply and 2000K lbs/in stronger. Panels require no intermediate support spanning the width of the bed. All three panels are keyed together for added strength.

These are equal length long tube headers. The equal length tubes prevent the exhaust pulses from fighting each other for escape, increasing scavenging. They are not longer than the factory headers, as far as bolting into place, they just delete the front cats. It gives a nice power increase all across the rpm band.

 

I pulled my TJM bumper off to install my Engo E9000 winch. Still need to mount the solenoid and wire it.
