Think I'm gonna order direct from Crown so I can get custom lengths for the 6" lift. Need longer than 4" in the rear cuz I'm gonna go with custom Alcans instead of the stupid 4" block that comes with the BDS kit.

Interesting to know about the options for the front. I'll roll with it as is for a bit but might upgrade to that option if I don't go with coils at some point.

What can I say. All the talk on here about customizing DB lifts with special brake lines, shocks, coils, etc. I have nothing to add. :D Mine works fine for mud holes as is, out of the box.

Thank God I'm not the only ordinary drop bracket bum! :D I can agree with the others that my rear leafs need an upgrade though......full leafs with no blocks.

YES! These blocks are like whores....you need them to stick around for awhile until you can save up for something better!

The only thing I want to change is the blocks for badass springs...BUT....I have fuck trophies at home that need shit like food, clothes, school shit, etc.....so my DB DB (DoucheBag DropBracket) suits me just fine for now.

Just my old fuckface of a 2 cents :headbang:

FYI SS brake lines are only $150-ish and worth their weight in gold to help slow down the massive increase in rotational mass when going from 31s to 35s. ;)

I'm gonna drive the truck with the rear blocks for a few weeks until my new Alcans get here, but I'm sure I won't be a fan. Had blocks on a few other trucks over the years (both lift and lowering blocks) and never liked any of them.

I love my DoucheBag straight out the cracker jack box it came in! :D

With the middle aged high school bitches in it weighing in at around 95 pounds each it carries the load great!

Hi, sorry for the delayed response I have been living inside a mandatory evac area for the Cocos Fire here in San Diego so my internet boredom time has been a wee bit limited this week :/

Yes I did the rears too, there is a post a few pages back with photos of what I did in the rear. I actually removed every single hard line on the truck from under the drivers door all the way to the rear drums and ran the same kevlar hoses straight to the drums down the same path as the e-brake lines.

Sorry I don't remember the price tag but it was all very reasonably priced from Crown. John was a spur cool guy very interested in generating more biz via TW.
