Murphy's Automotive. I used to get a little freaked when I would drive his car cops would occasionally blip their siren when passing the other way. I'm like what the heck did I do?

I want to go to AZ, cooler weather, your water isn't salty to the point of Just being outside rust your vehicle. We have hot women here but they are on the trashy side. (by no means am I complaining.) Shouldn't have the Mosquito as your state bird!
Most likely my complaints would be the food but that is everywhere, other than home for me.

Yeah, it's funny how states as close as New Mexico and Oklahoma yield inferior foods. And when talking Mexican food, there are few cities this side of the border who can do it like San Antonio. That's something I miss when I leave town. It's especially funny when whomever we're visiting wants to take us out to their favorite "Mexican" restaurant.

yeah but thats not great argument for this reason.... if you saw a guy with a gun visible (handgun or shotgun or whatever) would you try to forcibly remove it from him? would anyone?

a person with a concealed gun is more likely to use it that someone with a visible gun. if you are carrying a concealed gun a mugger wont know until you've pulled it and most likely fired it. if your gun is showing, that mugger is gonna skip you and go to the next guy

I do believe in open carry, but the genreal public should have training on how to handle themselves if somebody tries to take the gun. I don't want to be shot by some crack head who took a gun from somebody who didn't know how to defend themself.

    guns are like motorcycles

    1) not everyone owns a gun, not everyone owns a motorcycle
2)not everyone knows how to use a gun, not everyone knows how to drive a motorcycle
3)some people fear guns, some people fear motorcycles (i will never ride one. ever)
4)under ideal conditions and with knowledge motrocycles can be fun and safe, same for guns
5)in the wrong or uneducated hands, both can be deadly
6)both are responsible for many many deaths in the US each year

so following the anti gun proponent logic, we should outlaw motorcycles. but we aren't. and whats worse, is motorcycles aren't constitutionally protected, guns are! so why are they being attacked? so what i'm saying is, lets ban motorcycles. who's with me!?

i agree, i have not problem with making training and education a requirement for gun ownership. but once that is done, you should be able to own whatever you want as long as you're not a felon or a crazy person. i know people who have no business touching a gun and wish to God they were forced to be educated on the subject.

I too know many people that should never carry. I used to be in Law Enforcement and still am to some degree. Many people that I know in Law Enforcement even have no business carrying! I have had training on how to handle a situation if somebody tries to disarm me. I am glad to hear from somebody that does agree with me.

We took a trip to Florida for a 3 day vacation, everyone that went with the exception of my brother and I wanted to go eat boiled Crab/Crawfish. Not to mention someone ordered a Gumbo, WTF. I was all for eating seafood just not the stuff we can do every weekend, especially not gumbo.
I enjoy eating Steaks and Mexican when I am in Texas, Cajun food when in the extreme southern Louisiana. For those that don't know Northern Louisiana is the same to me as another state, they don't even talk remotely the same.

In my news source (Fidelity Investments)...
Protester carried rifle as publicity stunt 08/19 04:11 PM

A protester who carried a semiautomatic rifle near the Phoenix Convention Center as President Obama spoke about healthcare reform said it was a publicity stunt.

The man, who identifies himself only as "Chris," appears in a YouTube GOOG:$443.97,00$-1.31,00-0.29%) video, shot Monday, showing off his rifle and saying it "aids me in my resistance efforts," The Arizona Republic reported.

"We will forcefully resist people imposing their will on us through the strength of the majority with a vote," Chris tells an Obama supporter in the video. "Just because you sic the government on people doesn't make it morally OK to steal money from people. Taxation is theft."

Chris had met with Libertarians with whom he had worked on Ron Paul's presidential campaign, and they helped arrange the stunt, the said.

Ernest Hancock, the publisher of a Libertarian publication, Freedom's Phoenix, told CNN Chris was a Phoenix-area resident, an independent conservative and a member of the John Birch Society.

Chris was one of a dozen demonstrators carrying firearms at the rally. Arizona law allows people to openly carry firearms in public.

I'm for his cause too. It's sad they call this a publicity stunt when we could call 99% of "news" as a "publicity stunt." Tomorrows news - "13 Kidnappers Rounded Up by Local Sheriff's Deputies as Publicity Stunt"
