    It says to go at least 500 miles taking it easy before romping on the gears so I can't hit the compound as hard as id like to yet. Did you go by that?

    my rear gears were used, so they were already broken in :D but i drove around with my front locked in for like a month and i wheeled it once in that time.

    I have manual hubs. So my hubs were locked, my tcase was in 2wd.

    And I dont think we'll have to, I had to pull my lbj though.

    Pretty sure there a way to just unbolt from the lbj and lift up the spindle and pop out the cv

    yeah i took apart my hub, unbolted the LBJ and swung the spindle out of the way, but they i remembered i was doing my TREs any way so i needed an alignment so i just took off the UBJ to remove the whole spindle. do you have an impact gun?

    Got a question for ya. How did you get the inner CV popped loose without dicking up the little dust ring? I pretty much destroyed mine getting it out but I was replacing the CVs anyway so it really didn't concern me. Would be handy to know how to do it in the future though.

    i used the pickle fork as a punch, i put on of the forks on one of the 3 flat spots and hit it with a hammer. if i didnt pop out on the second hit i rotated it and tried the next one till it popped out
