Just got to my cottage in Freedom, NH. Yes, my sherif is the Obama n-word guy

I swung by Johnny's place around midnight or so and got the hi-lift and cables.

Johnny; the money is in the mailbox. Also, you have a HELL of a commute man! Jeeze

Gonna pass out pretty soon, but I'm really stoked to have a hi-lift finally! Now I can actually change a tire if I get a flat on the road. The stupid bottle jack ain't worth shit when you lift your truck (read: mommy wagon)

    Night gentlemen!

The Elder Flower is the only one of the line I'm not real fond of actually. Have you tried the others? I had the green apple for the first time last night and it's by far my favorite of the line (aside from the Iceman specialty run they do).
Bottle jack should still work fine for on road tire changes. The lift doesn't change the axle height and slightly oversized tires don't lift the axle far enough to where the bottle jack no longer works. The bottle jack does suck but should still work as long as you have a flat, stable surface to set it on.

    I love the green apple!

And yeah but I would rather have the hi-lift than the bottle any day

Working on wax now. Didn't feel the need to polish a single stage blah color, and frankly, it's an 85 so I don't give two fucks. We are selling it anyway. So as long as this turd is polished a little, it'll bring a little more cash in

Put on my SOS sliders. Had them made to 0 degrees and I added expanded steel for fill plates.

45 minutes ain't so bad, especially for a 3 day work week. I'm guessing you do okay over there so as I see it that makes it worth it..plus the flex work week especially being a new homeowner is beyond priceless.

Oh man, aching..just got home at 10pm. Left at 7:30AM and drove to Newton, worked a dart shoot for 12 hours. Back is kicking my ass, must be from carrying the $50 I got paid for it.

45 minutes isn't a bad commute, especially for a 3 day work week. If you were working a fiver it'd probably get really old really fast, though. My dad's been driving an hour one way for better than 30 years. He just moved down from 5 days to three a couple of years ago, and he said the difference is night and day.

Yeah, I do like the Green Apple better. But I hadn't tried the Elderflower yet, so I figured I'd grab a couple and give it a shot. I probably wouldn't want to drink much of the Elderflower on their own (too sweet), but they went pretty good with pork chops on the grill.

Sweet! That's $4.16 an hour! :woot:

At least you got paid, haha!
Yesterday I changed the oil in the Kawasaki, the Kubota, and the Dodge, cut up, split and stacked a couple of winter blowdowns (worked out to about 1/2 a cord), tilled & planted three of the garden beds, cleaned out the chicken coop, did some tractor work around the front yard, swapped out the soil in the planter on our front steps and replanted it. And I helped our neighbor diagnose and correct his sump-pump issues.
    FOR FREE!

Considering its position on top of that silver car, that Ferd looks relatively unscathed...
