Yea I already had a crack along the bottom that I wasnt going to fix unless I got a ticket.. but now I pretty much need to replace it

 

I'd have mine repaired when I could. Only one was as bad as Tuckers but, after too many repairs got in my line of site I had to do it...

As bad as Tuckers, I'd replace it.
Right now I've got a small bullseye behind my mirror. No clue how long it was there before I noticed it.

 

My Tacoma is the 8th vehicle I've had in 14 years. Only one to have windshied damage. Luckily it was..........

Having two Star cracks in my windshield repaired tomorrow. Already have 1 star fixed. All three are in the same area, lower drivers side. The DC beltway is a bitz.

 

Besides. The janitor should know not to wash it. They are supposed to use soda ash. Glad its only a 4 day wk.

I need to make sure I'm down there when they lift the topsides. That'll be a site to see. Maybe they'll let me hook my gopro to the topsides when they pick it up.

The battery light box does a damn fine job of powering the gopro.

Do you know if they'll use the HLD vs a multicrane pick?

while the HLDs scale is impressive, the actual lift is not quite as exciting. it's like watching the hulk pick up a golf ball. if it's a multi-crane operation though, it'd be really cool to set up a camera (stills or video), to create a time lapse of the lift. are you actually down there right now, or did someone send you those pictures?

 

I'm still here, the guys on-site sent us the pictures.

Yes, they'll be using the HLD. It would be neat to get a time lapse of the platform being loaded onto the barge to be picked up by the HLD and then set.

I may have to talk to them about setting up a camera to capture the whole thing.
