09 TRD AC stock for now
    Good evening,

I just bought a 2009 Acces Cab TRD. Maybe I missed it among the 100+ pages of this thread but I was wondering if someone know a good part store near Ottawa?

    Thank you

I don't know anything about Ottawa area for part stores. Most of my stuff came from the USA, shipped at the border and then taken across by myself. I saved a lot of $$$ since then.

It always depend what kind of parts you are looking for. I am sure someone can help you over there.

    Few options:
    - Ship it to Ogdensburg, NY.
    - Take the brokerage gamble.
    - Non-vehicle specific; Princess Auto.
    - Otherwise Action Car and Truck (On Industrial Ave), but expect to pay a premium.

Yah , when I picked up new winter tires , my plan was to go straight rubber but I drive on frozen lakes to get to work so I went for winter tires with studs . Not sorry I went this way either . We live in a good size province where legislation comes from the warmer side .....Toronto . Those people have no clue what its like up here yet they mandate our highways with the same rules that correspond to their warmer weather .

If I was spending that kind of time on ice/frozen lakes I'd stick with studs too. Guess we're (US) not the only ones stuck with an out of touch bureaucracy. :frusty:

"But we made Huntsville part of Northern Ontario, and they don't need some of these regulations"
Stupid south of 7 folk, ruining everything. I think of each of them was forced to drive the 17 and 11 loop before voting (in winter of course) it would change their outlook on:
    1. How big Ontario is.
    2. Why their stupid city rules won't work.
    3. They might stop bitching about gas prices.

I'm close to Mattawa and I feel Torontoianism, though not nearly as bad as my buddies up in Sioux Lookout.

Hey Liam, How have you been?

Don't know if I ever gave you the feedback, but I ended up installing a BackRack on my truck to mount my LightForces. The information you shared with me on yours put me on the track to getting mine. Just wanted to say thanks; I've been very happy with it.

Non haha. Go fed ex. UPS is garbage. They literally knock on your door then run away. You pretty much have to be sitting at the door to catch them. Every time I've used ups, they've had to come back the next day. And when they come, it's like 8pm. Wtf!!

FedEx however....the website said delivered by noon. 11:45am the gentleman was at the door, waited for a couple of minutes while I was grabbing my wallet. Had a smile, shoot the shit for a while. Great experience. 2nd time I used them, I missed them at the door, the guy slipped my package under the table out front and put the chairs around it to "disguise" it haha.

FedEx all the way. Unless you don't have a choice?
