Did you have to cut anything for the install. I'm thinking of doing the same cb in same area.

Yeah in order to get it that flush you need to do/have three things. You remove the ash tray which basically just unscrews, you can melt the ducting behind this location, (I used a pocket torch and a breaker bar to push the ducting in), and you need the 90* elbow to make the cable run in a direction that does not interfere with the ducting.

    Melted Ducting:

The front bezel comes out as one large piece, you cut the width of the CB behind it to get the CB in there:

Someone else on here had a better picture of where you cut. It's really easy though.

Yes that's what I'll be using them with but you can definitely just use washers to account for the difference between the spring width and the hangar width

Barnes and Chassis Unlimited have them for $7something

    http://www.chassisunlimited.com/store/axle-components/leaf-springs/shackles/leaf-spring-shackles.html

While I really like RuffStuff, prices for most things they have are too damned high compared to Barnes, Chassis Unlimited, etc....

For example the dual shock mounts are virtually the same but RuffStuff costs twice as much

Nice pics! I tried converting the lighted ring around the cigarette lighter to a blue led when i had everything out for the CB install and was unsuccessful thinking that the power going there just wasn't working anymore. Turns out it had a blown fuse and I was too dumb to check for it. Next time I tear it all off again I will see if I can get it working.

Do you have to melt the ducking if you're using a 90* elbow connection?

I wasn't sure I heard you can get pretty flush with just the 90* but I wanted to be "hella flush" so I did everything I could to make space from the get-go.

Anybody know the pinion paint codes for Tacoma's? Or has a link to the chart? Found a guy selling a front third that has the white code which is usually is 4.88s but didn't think they ever came factory with the Tacoma.

I didn't know they had paint codes for those. That would also explain the purple spray paint on my trans bell housing...?

Started the first part of my 95.5 Satoshi.... I got the grille surround. I have to paint the whole thing as the company that made it sucks at staying within the lines, but the general shape is correct and I will be cutting, sanding, and bondo-ing anyway. Here is a pic of the grille, it will be a while before I am done with this because I am on the final stretch of my first year of college, but summer will be all projects. If it isn't crap I may make them for other people.

It cost me a cool $35, so I am not too scared about screwing with it but I also haven't played with bondo in a while. It'll be an adventure for sure.
