Im not sure if its the same type of math for clac/engineering type of courses, but in business a derivative is an instrument/calculation to hedge or speculate risk in investments.

 

well ya, ive done derivatives, we had to do a bit of them in econ 303.

but im not sure if its calculated the same way when you calculate hedge instruments

 

Mine is a little different. It's not so much hard as it is math I can't do in my head and I'm lazy beyond that point

 

Just be glad it's not integration yet. Some of which take a full page to do then you get to triple integrations. Personally none of it is hard just takes more work

 

pretty sure I dont have to deal with any of that shit with an accounting and finance degree haha

integration sucks, especially double and triple. we had to use double in stats and that shit was the worst...so glad I am done with math for the rest of my life haha
