Idea on Rigid Duallys in fog light housing..

    Why not just take off the clear lens from the fog light....then use the existing hole to run the bolt through and mount the Dually like that?

    Does that make sense?

    Do it! I asked Rigid when they were going to offer a kit and they responded that they would forward that request to their engineers.

    You would think they would come up with the 05-11's....so many out there and I'd buy a kit for sure...

    But my idea....just take the clear lens off the existing housing....use the existing hole and maybe use a longer bolt to tighten it down. I'll try and see what happens.

    How did you separate the clear lens from the fog light housing?

    Oh i took the actual fog light out and just used the factory mount and ran a long bolt through it, let me see if i can find any

    Never did it. But I really need to! two jobs, 2 little ones, just been tight with time. Need to make time for this. I have a pair of d2's just calling my name sitting there.

    Do you have any pictures of your set up? I am debating on getting the mount kit for the tundra but not sure if it will work in the tacoma.
