Planning on a BDS 6" drop bracket lift, 35" toyo mt tires, plate bumper, bhlm, few other small things.

Not sure why the hate for drop bracket lifts on this site, I've gone offroad with them plenty of times no problem...of course theres not really rock crawling in NC haha

 

I don't like them either man. What's the point in a 6" lift

Possibly because there's no real purpose in them in most cases, and they're (for all practical purposes) irreversible.
Gotta admit, good fat chick repellant though.

Not necessarily...it can be reversed with some work. Plus I can always drop it down to a 4 inch if 6 is too high

 

I know it can be done, just a PITA.

Not immediately, probably several months after I get the tires. Toyos are heavy...hoping that since I have a 6 speed that it'll be bearable for a while.

 

95% of trucks have db lifts on them... Some people like to have bigger tires without cutting their truck up haha

Way too much work to make the tires fit on a 3"...I'd rather just get a drop bracket lift and have to deal with a cab mount chop at the most, instead of continually beating the crap out the wheel wells with a giant hammer to still have rubbing
