Hey guys I have some brand new in box 18'' 650 pound Eibach coil overs.

Mounted one and decided it wasn't the right spring for my application. One of the springs has slight marks from the spring compressor.

$200 shipped. Let me know if you want them. They've been collecting dust in the garage for a year and it's time for them to go!

Correct, one thing at a time is a good idea. If the comp was too soft you could be botteming out and then bouncing back up, making you feel like the rebound was too fast if that makes sense

Well, All Pro sent me a set of tie rod extensions that don't appear to be made for tacomas. I don't know what else they make them for, but the threads are not cut the same size. Close, but off. Rod won't fit in the female end and the rod end is loose as all get up on the male end of the extension.

Really pisses me off, I had tomorrow set aside to replace the spindle and remove AP's heim steering to go back to stock.

Damn heim steering does to shit way too frequently with the play in the rods.

    Thanks for the input guys.

The rebound was not enough, even just around town. I felt like it was springy and uncontrolled . I don't doubt an 8 stack would be good if all i was hitting were whoops.

I talked with a few other people about my setup and didn't just go willy-nilly into what i put in. The stacks that are in now are from DSM and were loosely based off what weight i've got and how i drive it.

I was loaded down with just about full gear this weekend out camping with Monte (blackdawg) and another TW'er shipps. The rear end was perfect today. Felt so planted and never felt like i ran out of up travel when there was a succession of whoops/bumps ie packing. I let Monte drive and ride with on a good stretch and he thought it was money. Granted he's no expert but having a second opinion from another truck guy let me know it wasn't just me thinking it felt right. Definitely leaving it as is and am very happy with how it is working.

You're right Jason, it is subjective. You're welcome to drive my truck if you'll be at moab and let me know what you think :)

I can't get the top cap off the bypass, I am guessing it tighten to death with loctite? I read somewhere with a little bit of heat from a propane torch will do without damaging the anodizing, anyone care to confirm that?

I spoke with Keith at Sway Away and he suggested .012 comp and .012 rebound for valving on my truck, anyone else running that? Mine's 11' DC SB 4x4 with Camburg LT/ DMZ SUA, simple bed cage, 17" beadlocks with 33" BFGs and a matching spare. Also the shocks are 3.0s

Yea they have lots of red locktite so you have to heat them up , unless you had the new style with the locking rings that allows you to clock the bodies.
For valving if it's on the rear I would recommend 12 comp 8 reb to start with personally

Cause your still at the mercy of stock frame thickness that the plate is welded to.

    Sorry for the late response.

Anybody here running the Solomotorsports kit? Haven't seen anybody with it. I want to LT my truck eventually and was just trying to figure some things out. The total chaos stuff is what I always see and I kinda favor that anyways

The solo kit is amazing. IMO the two best kits on the market right now for the 2nd gen are solo kit and the camburg race kit.

Honestly I haven't seen it on a truck yet but if it's half as good as their tundra or 1st gen kit it will be amazing.
