I have a new-ish Belltronics Pro500 unit with redlight-camera alerting in my Tacoma. t's hard to imagine living without it now. When I drive my Corolla it's maddening - I have to really focus on the fact that it's not there with me. <g>

On my 2007 Tacoma there is a little useless flip-down compartment low on the left side of the dash. Now it has three cigar lighter outlets in it. Very convenient that the fuse array is right behind there. <g>

I just used those tap-a-fuse widgets to get power out.

It was a rhetorical question. But, I have a 12 yo daughter. They know everything. Want to be 21. Complain about everything. Rude. Entitled. Judgmental. etc.

I would say it's my daughter but all her friends and enemy's act the same.

Off Topic: My buddy has been running w/ the handle Manwiththeplan on many forums for many years so yours has always stuck out to me. His is based on What to do in Denver when you're Dead. Yours?

That's a great color blue! Will look good when you finish it up. A BHLM would look awesome and really pull it all together since they wheels are now black.

Took some goof-off to clean up around the debadged areas during my lunch break.

Yeah, I would like to do the BHLM and tint the rear taillights, with LEDs all around of course. One thing at a time.

Nice! I've been looking at some L-Track tie downs for some time. How difficult was it to thread the nuts on from under the truck?

I installed a dedicated voltmeter in the back of my truck shell so I can easily monitor my aux battery.

It was annoying but now that it's done it's gravy.

I skipped one row of screws that happened to come down on a support rib, the left side was more of a bitch due to the gas tank and took 2x as long as the right side. I have short arms and big meaty claws for hands and had to have a guy with thinner arms get one of the nuts/washers on near the gas tank.

They're the Core Trax 1000 rails. I like that they are pretty much flush with the ridges in the bed and won't inhibit sliding things in and out.

I plan on getting an aluminum plate that I mount motorcycle wheel chocks to and then will attach the plate to the rails when I need to and remove it when I'm done.

I commend you on that. I bitched and moaned until I found a good place to put the 2 smaller L-Track rails that I have in my bed. I had a hell of a time just getting my slim jim arms up under there, and that is after I dropped the spare, I gave up on putting it where I originally wanted it due to the gas tank. How you did it is almost something of myth to me. Looks great!

Instead of tinting the taillights, I would look on Amazon at the LED smoked/blacked out Depo taillights. I had my stock ones tinted but the sun faded them out within a year. Replaced them with the LED Depo lights, and I love them. Below is a picture of what they look like.

Good job! I've routed some power cables and coax under the truck and the F'ing gas tank was in my way too! :D

Awesome sauce! I like it resting on the wheel well like that, and F- paying a ton of $$ for mounts. I mounted my Hi-Lift last week for $2.50. with some pipe u-bolts from home cheapo. ;)

It's been a great week for the truck. Let's see Saturday I got my sliders welded on. Thanks iceman. Yesterday I painted all my welds, tore off the plasti dip off my front valence and painted with flat black. Today so far I have washed the truck and repainted my grill. On the todo list are plasti dip my wheels.
