Finally a confirmed member at a local gun range. It's really close to my house so it'll be a lot easier for me to get some lead through my firearms :)

AND, they have a 300 yd rifle range which is hard to come by in this area. We don't have the miles and miles of open desert available to us so this is a nice perk.

I miss being a member of a private range. Could go out there all day and never see anyone most of the time. If you did, people are always nice, considerate, and helpful.

    Indoor ranges suck...

I accidentally bought this on the way to the club today. I'd been wanting one of these for a while, but hadn't run across one. I'm a big Bubbits fan.
Sweetest trigger on any stock, striker fired polymer. That's what hooked me.
I put 150 rounds through it today. I didn't initially like the trapezoidal sights, but I was burning up the plates with it so they're growing on me. I was lookin at the thickness of the muzzle and didn't like it, but unlike the PPQ it has a pretty low bore axis. I don't really like the looks of it, but I don't care about looks anyway.

HSGI leg rig V1 (Chris Costa fanboy gear).
Doing a class in AZ in a couple weeks and don't want to have to wear a plate carrier if it's going to be terribly hot. Plus, these guys stress speedy reloads in certain segments, and my carrier setup isn't especially conducive to that particular action.
I wanted belt mounted kydex mag holsters, but the setup I liked the most is made to order, so I wouldn't have received it in time.
This will do just fine for now.

Thanks man. I'm a Glock guy really. It has nothing on my G17 I use for IDPA, but for a stock gun it's pretty bad ass. My favorite striker fired polymer (stock) pistol is the Caracal C:crapstorm:, but the Steyr is a close second.

There are options other than plate carriers. The majority prefer battle belts for exactly your stated needs for many reasons. I thought this was a novel idea when they came out but in practice they're not as handy as they are on paper. I'll keep my HSGI Suregrip belt.

Thought about getting the flashcan for my pistol build, went with the two piece setup from Kinet-tech instead for now. Muzzle brake with a screw on "sound deflector". Can't wait to see how it performs soon.

I want one of those two, but multiple muzzle breaks with just one can. They never responded as to whether I could order that way. Please do a review!
