My compass/temp. gauge went out and my extended warranty paid for a new one so I fixed my original one and kept the new one. Soldered the 510 connector and verified it worked by plugging it into my harness, took side by side pictures to show both units work. I did break a tab on the cover that I super glued back on but it does not affect operation or installation of unit. Asking $90 shipped anywhere in the U.S.

Remove your overhead console, you should see a white connector that isn't hooked up to anything. If you do then that's what you need to make this work but keep in mind you will still need the outside temp. sensor if you don't already have one. Most cars come equipped with all the needed connectors so that if you want a feature and didn't get it from the factory it can still be added at the port or dealer At least that's how Toyota does it
