My furry patients aren't bad or violent, they are often just scared or under trained. Our clinic does high volume surgeries and in turn does a lot of work with rescue groups. We see many animals that have more than enough of an excuse to loath the human race.

The other day I saw a cat that had ligature/strangulation marks on his legs and neck and cigarette burns spanning his whole body. I can't begin to express the way I felt that day. The human race never ceases to amaze and disgust me.

I couldn't work in human med. Not because I don't enjoy working with humans, because there are just as many in et med.... But because I don't have the compassion to help them. So, props to you sir
