So I got a little bit of work done on the RTT today

Added these vacuum line covers to the bottom of the RTT mounting bolts
    [IMG]

And one of them switched out and used eye bolts and a Bolt pad lock (keyed to the truck key). I had to rotate one of the eye bolts because the Bolt pad locks only come in 2" shackle lengths.

Added some protection to the RTT cover when the ladder is extended

    after:

    another shot

    shoe holder
    [IMG]

and here is a shot of the RTT lights that jberry813 so kindly left for me. Thanks again :D
    [IMG]

I also added rock lights, but I left my truck at my in law's place and it was still light out when I left. I'll have to add pics tomorrow

Yeah I thought I was almost done with my to-do list, but then I saw that one of the the exhaust pipes that used to go through the t-case skid opening (passenger side), is now wedged up in the skid and there's a small hole in the pipe. I'm kind of torn to get it fixed because I'd have to take all of the skids off (PITA), but it's in between the cat and muffler, so I'm not sure how important that is lol.

Might just fix it after Moab

If you can reach it, muffler tape could be a temporary fix.

Yeah I'll have to see what kind of movement I can get to see if it's accessible. TBH, I can't even see the hole, but I know there is one bc there's a trail of surface rust on the pipe from the condensation coming from inside.

Here's a shot of the rock lights. I had 3 pairs of the OKLED round lights, but one broke when I was trying to install it. So I only have 5 of them hooked up for now, more are on the way though. I had an extra 6" blitzbro led, so I threw it in the middle. It's not really where I want it to be at, but this will have to do for Moab :D

The ones on the front are hooked up to where one of the bolts for the sway bar go to. I had to re-thread it to fit the light (11mm x 1.50).

The second pair are near the cap mount chop
    [IMG]

And the last one (only one since one broke) is where the spare used to be

And here is where I was talking about the skid cutting into an exhaust pipe :(

You can see the rust trail, and also where exhaust fumes are smoking the skid
    [IMG]

You can barely see it in this pic, but this is what used to look like:

Looks like a pretty easy fix. Come up early enough Saturday and we'll fix it before Moab.

Might just say F it and fix it after Moab. I'm going to get a new IFS skid from Relentless so when I eventually pull off the skids maybe just have a shop fix it since I have to get some exhaust work done near the muffler too (chopped off both pipes after the muffler)
