The door was unlocked, because it was broad daylight when it happened. Didn't expect to have to lock my truck against thieves when it's daylight, sitting at my house, with my mom always home. I'll go through it again tomorrow to be sure.

 

Last order until June 6th for the relocation

 

F that. I live in a nice neighborhood and don't feel comfortable leaving my truck unlocked. I guess growing up in an area schooled me, that if it is unlocked you're more than likely coming back to an, empty of all your contents vehicle. You should always lock your doors. IMO.

 

Saw a black one yesterday. Surprised me. I thought those things were pretty much gone.

 

LOL I refuse to leave my truck unlocked if I'm not in it. If it's in my garage, with the garage door closed, I keep it locked. (BTW I live in a good area).

I don't even leave it unlocked when I'm getting out just to stand right beside it. Sorry, but no. I don't know how my friend's family can stand to leave all their vehicles unlocked with the keys either sitting OPENLY in/on the center console or in the ignition. It would drive me mad.

I can say I've only seen a few, some at car shows and such, but never one on the road like that one. It was a pretty cool looking setup he had.

 

Me either, except when it's parked outside our house (up a private drive) on a hot day, sometimes it stays unlocked, windows down, keys in the cup holder, or when I'm at my cousins house (private acreage in a valley only trespassers go in, and they get met with a lots of barking and a few folks yelling at them that's it's private property and they can leave with their lives if they walk back up the trail).

 

I just lock my doors out of habit...

 

I seldom lock my doors anymore. No trouble makers around here.

 

I doubt anybody would be dumb enough to go into my truck on base, but there are idiots everywhere. Even where you live haha

I forgot I left my key in my motorcycle in plain sight for over 24 hours and no one did anything. I've also left bumpers, skids, sliders, and all kinds of other good scrappable crap outside in the yard for days on end and no one cared. If it isn't a cigarette my neighbors don't care about it.

 

Now I am not trying to single you out, but it takes maybe a second or two to lock your door and the same to unlock,why not lock it? Seems like that is well spent time when it's put up against "what could result of my leaving this unlocked?"
