Isn't it nice that those barriers are just short enough to be hard to see. Ive done similar.

Ouch, sorry to see that OP. I would guess about $3,000 minimum. Just the door and bed side will be close to $2,000 in parts, then they have to be painted and installed. Hopefully there is no damage to the cab itself - seems like you have confirmed that.

Apparently here in NC if you have more than 3000 in damages, your insurance rate must go up 60%. If it's less than 1800 there is no insurance bump. I sent these pictures to my body shop guy and he couldn't tell based off of them. He did say that they could probably "beat" them out and not have to buy all new panels.
And to the person that mentioned the barriers being too short, yeah they are. They also will usually place them right where your door will hit them as you try to get out.

That sucks man. I had the same kind of damage from one of those poles a few years ago. Mine was only the front door and a little bit of the rear door. Quote was about $1500, got them down to $1200 paying cash and negotiating a bit.

I can see that being about $3,000

I had similar damage, but it was done to both my doors right where the access and main door meet. It was done by a runaway tire on the highway and cost almost 3K to fix. What the body shop told me took the most work was repainting the thick almost bed-liner material that runs across the bottom under the paint.

Work for an Insurance company myself, seen enough of these I was figuring 2700 to 3200 give or take. Parts shouldn't be horrible but paint is going to cost ya. Sorry to see it, hope you had good insurance.

I have a low deductible, it's just the state of NC has a policy where if the damage is greater than $3000 your insurance automatically goes up 60%. That's what I'm trying to avoid. If it's under $1800 it goes up 0%.

If its right above $3000 and if you have the means and if you havent already filed a claim, I would pay all cash for it. It will save you money in the long run

I just did a quarter panel on my '13 last month. TRD sticker was $78 alone, for one side! Whole thing was $3200 said and done. LISTEN TO ME!!! Make sure you talk to your repair shop about the chip guard. Our trucks on the qtr panel have a small section of chip guard paint, you know, the part that is puffy kind of like Rhino Liner? Make sure the repair shop pays attention to how high to spray it so it matches the forward section of the truck in height. Mine didn't and it's about 2" higher and looks bad. I'm probably the only one that notices it, but I notice it!

Good news is I got the red paint off today so it doesn't look *as* bad. I'm going to try to run by a body shop and get an estimate Thursday.

Base on my past damages, I would say it would cost not less than 4K at dealer.

    Ouch.

My guesstimate for damages is also in the $3-4k range, assuming the use of new parts (and excluding the cost of sliders, increased insurance rates, and/or a driving course:D)

I bet they can keep it under $3000 if you need them to.

x2. I had a similar incident in my work parking garage and ran out to find yellow paint was traded on my slider. I'd estimate $3000 as well. Sorry to hear about the misfortune :(

Am I the only one that would take it to a body shop and have them weld studs to the dents and pull them out?

It will definately cost you a grand or more if you start replacing panels. I would rather have those dent pulled.

    I'm sub'd for results.

This is what I'm hoping for. I really don't want to buy new panels as it'll be a grand just to get those and they'll be unpainted. Factor in paint and labor and it'll easily be upwards of 3000 I think. We'll see what the shop says tomorrow.

Probably won't replace the door. Either pop it out or skin it.
