You'll find the 2014 taco interior vastly improved over the '08 at least that's my opinion.

I owned an Audi before my Taco. Great car to drive and beyond superior handling, but after owning it until 165k miles my advice is this:

If you buy a European brand vehicle either lease it or sell it before it hits 90k miles. They are nearly impossible to work on yourself and shops charge out the ass because they know they can when it comes to European cars.

I could afford the Audi, but not the maintenance in the long run.

I always liked the WRX's but not the new ones so i'd be looking for used if i went that route. Tacoma i'd buy new any day of the week. There's really not many full-sized pickups i like. The new Dodge Cummins is really good looking IMO but i could never afford one nor would i ever need a truck that large.

Wow...I could never make a vehicle purchase decision based on if a vehicle had homelink and temp gauge, especially when the alternative is built by Government Motors.

I have gotten use to having them and the dimming mirror. I understand that TRDs no longer have this stuff. It will be 6 years before next purchase so I will have plenty of time to evaluate the GMs. Ford and Dodge are out of the picture for me and not a Nissan fan either.

The wiring is still there for them. You can get a mirror with everything you want for (I think) less than $300. You would just have to run the wire for the temp into the engine bay. I think Bob is the name of the guy that sells them here on TW.
