Why not lease the Colorado for 2 years and see if its really what you want. If, by the grace of god it's actually a good truck, you have the option to buy or get rid of it when the lease is up...

That way, if it sucks, and you like the Tacoma Redesign, you won't be out the cash.

Or better yet, lease a new Tacoma for a couple years, until he can get into a new one :D

Boone hit the nail on the head.

Exactly!! I've got the 2013 and I'm happy as a clam. Great Truck and it will last me 15 years just like the 05 did for OP. Buy the Chevy or the Nissan and keep them for 15 years.

I vote 4Runner. It's kinda like an updated Tacoma. Unless you need a bed or towing capacity. Am I mistaken that the tow rating on the 4Runner is like 3 or 4 thousand pounds?

Can't tell if he's just trolling or what...I mean I've owned a total of 4 Tacomas, 2 4Runners, and 2 Siennas. How one can say their Toyota Tacoma has been so awesome, then jump ship to a Nissan baffles me.

    Yeah, I'm a Toyota Fanboy...with good reason.

Carry on and have fun with your Chevy/Nissan. :D

Go Tundra. Quad cab Tundra with a 6 or 7 inch lift on 37's is SOOOOOO sick!!! That's my next truck for sure.

Very true.... Less than 4" lift on a Tundra just isn't enough....

that is because no one wants a 5 banger. Time will tell with the new ones. Tacoma's have adsurd resale's. There is nothing that comes close. Hopefully it will stay this way until I buy my next one. Next one may be my last.
