2 IDQ V.3s 10s in a 05 +doublecab Anyone running them? I'm buying a box from supercrew for this set up and want to know what to expect. I can't wait, if there is one thing that I won't grow-up from its a nice system in my trucks! :D

Unless your doing something different that I dont know about, you can NOT fit the version 3's in the double cab the depth is too great. the version 2's do fit but the depth on the v3's are way deeper. You need a driver with a mounting depth under 5.5" if I remember correctly.

yup the v3 has a 5.8" mounting depth and the v2 has 4.5" I will say I run the v2's and the seat ever so slightly rubs the surround when I put the seats down, I dont see how you could fit the v3's in a mdf box.

I spent some tim etalking to Mr Marv tonight and it seems with some extensive mods it IS possible to fit the V3's in the Taco, is it worth the cost and effort? I don't know. Borthers and .....sisters, there are other options as well. :)

Those speakers should slam in the taco is all I have to say..I'll let you know how it turns out because the box is in the mail. Supercrew. com is selling this exact setup on the website, and after some email discussions with the owner its not a problem....I might have to put grills on or take the plastic off the back of the seats which I was planning on doing anyways.

is anyone else running this setup?
