Effin clutch pedal started squeaking today!!&:&4&,!&/&4$4$)3894@2@-@&!!(!,'cncnfjdmo just got a new clutch put in by toyota maybe 2 months ago.... Could it possibly be something under warranty??

It's probably the bushings for the torsion spring.

Pull the spring and bushings out and replace it with a linear spring (brake pedal return spring). There's a tab already in place behind your lower dash panel to hook the spring to on one end. 4 cylinders use the linear spring, so everything is already in place for the swap.

 

Thanks for the advice man, I'm taking it to toyota tomorrow just to see if its anything under the clutch install warranty if not ill try that, can you get that spring from toyota?

After sitting like this for a year while I was busy off at college, finally got it completed! Passed inspection and got new plates today. New tires and wheels tomorrow.

You can. It's called a brake pedal return spring.

True. My old slave cylinder squeaked horribly. I replaced both the slave and master cylinders and the slave still squeaks, but not as bad. The new master cylinder also has a slight "rubbing" squeak noise at the firewall and the clutch fork, you speak of, also squeaks.

But it's nowhere near as insanely annoying as that torsion spring bushings.

New upper and lower ball joints along with tie rod end.. New KYB shocks struts and MOOG spring.. upper ball joints are a bitch. I still have to do one of them.. BUT the truck rides so much better!
