These fires really suck man :/ I heard they closed the 89 down so Sedona-Flag is completely shut down. I hope they get it before it destroys Oak Creek.

Still a good place for a day hike. I have actually been going to Christopher Creek lately for a quick hike up the Rim. Not a bad hike and Payson is so close to me.

Canyoneering christopher creek is really fun, its possible to down climb everything and stay dry but doing the rappells and swimming the pools is way more fun

I have never done an overnight there even though there looks like a lot of good spots at the bottom of the rim. Probably gunna do one over the summer.

Congrats, that's a great feeling! Although I can't manage to stay so for very long. A few days after I made my last truck payment, I bought a new horse trailer.... :/ Good think I don't like expensive clothes or shiny things because my hobbies are outrageously expensive!

Lmao I hear ya! Truck mods and wheeling got me into debt, now I've dug my way out, learned some VERY important lessons, and will be saving intelligently for more truck mods while keep my ass out of debt and having money set aside first

Ha, you have so far to go too, it does suck sometimes but it gets better too. Only way I would go back to 18 is if I knew what I know now. Life experience is invaluable

If you maxed out two credit cards and paid them off in two years you did well. And if you don't do it again you are better off than most

Yeah only about $2,500 for the cards/bill me later.

Also just paid off my dad for the loan he gave me after I flooded my truck and needed $3,500 to replace the trans. So I paid back $6,000 in 2-ish years.

    Fuck you off road hobby!

Went to URD today and Gadget was nice enough to show me around and demo a new exhaust component they are working on. Also spent some $$$ there today of course.

Not sure how many of you wear boots (not cowboy boots) But this site is one that Spence showed me a while back. It's Danner Boots outlet. Every few weeks they do a fire sale and sell boots for nothing.

I'm hoping to be there soon. Only couple of payments left. The money that would be for car payments will go to CC payments. My interest is retarded.

The mod bug gets everyone. I worked 2 jobs in HS to build my dream turbo civic. Spent 8k just building up motor/tranny for it. Another 10k in suspension and other parts.

Blew it up at Firebird and, sold the frame/suspension, took a 17k loss at 18 years old. Built a CRX, 10-15k into that, flipped it at high speeds and got $1,300 from insurance for it.

After that I wasted thousands in a Tacoma, Intergra Type-R, Motorcycles, etc.. In 2005 the new body style Tacoma came out and my mom got one. Drove it, fell in love, started saving up cash vs. modding my cars. 2011 I saved up enough to buy the truck.(still modded the shit out of my cars just not as far as I would have gone with them)

If I'd of not modded cars/trucks I could of paid off my house already with the amount of cash I wasted in mod's.
